As a project developer, REI will specialize in developing turnkey projects that produce alternative fuels for energy and transportation from both benign and hazardous materials sorted from municipal solid waste (“MSW”), using licensed, patented and commercially proven pyrolytic and gasification technologies. The Company’s initial efforts will focus on medical wastes, tires, mixed plastics from sorted MSW, and plastics from recycled electronic waste. These waste products:

• Reflect serious remediation problems
• Have large, well defined markets
• Are the focus of key government policies and incentives
• Represent waste streams, for which the Company has operational experience
